AEPC organised a seminar in Tiruppur on “Unlocking Growth Opportunities , FTA Utilization for Apparel Exporters”, bringing together exporters, industry leaders, government officials and trade experts.
Chairman Dr. A. Sakthivel highlighted the growing opportunities through India’s FTAs, while Secretary General Shri Mithileshwar Thakur stressed the importance of effectively utilising preferential tariffs, Rules of Origin and compliance.Shri D. Sridhar, ITS, Additional DGFT, Coimbatore, urged exporters to prepare for emerging opportunities, particularly under the India-UK CETA and India-EU framework.Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mangla, Associate Professor, Economics and International Trade, SIMS, shared practical insights on Rules of Origin, CTH, QVC, sourcing and documentation for effective FTA utilisation.The seminar reinforced AEPC’s commitment to helping Tiruppur exporters convert FTAs into new markets, larger orders and sustained export growth.
