The 18th Edition Knit Tech Fair was inaugurated in Tirupur on 06 March 2026. The fair was inaugurated by
Padmashri. Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman (AEPC & IKFA) and Honorary Chairman (TEA).
The inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. K.M. Subramanian, President of Tirupur Exporters Association;
Mr. Shanmugasundaram, President of South India Hosiery Manufacturers Association;Mr. Srikanth, President of Tirupur Export Knit Printers Association; Mr. Gandhirajan, President of Dyers Association Tirupur; Mr. Ahill Rathnasamy, President of Knitwear Cloth Manufacturers Association; and Mr. Anand, Joint Secretary of TEA, along with trade members and industry representatives. The Fair was organised by Mr. Rayappan, HITECH International Trade Fair India Private Limited.
The four-day exhibition, which runs from March 6 to March 9, 2026, features over 230 stalls and 360 participants. Exhibitors from India and abroad are showcased the latest machinery and solutions designed to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in the textile and garment manufacturing sector.
Visitors to the exhibition can explore a wide range of advanced technologies including knitting machines, dyeing machines, CAD/CAM systems, embroidery machines, sewing machines, printing machines, compacting machines, and several other modern textile production technologies. The exhibition also highlights digital manufacturing tools, automation solutions, and smart production systems that are increasingly shaping the future of the apparel industry.
